What is history? Is it just a reminder of the wars and seditions that took place among the various tribes, or is it the report of kings and ministers and chiefs, or the counting of earthquakes, plagues and famines? The great historian and famous philosopher Ibn Khaldun has never said that the art of history is "thinking and researching about events and their origins and a precise search to find their causes". This date is the fruit of the experiments of the ancient sages.
The history of science is a lesson for one who thinks and for one who does not accept it, and it is an instructive moral lesson that shows the value of knowledge in social life and the need to protect those who have practiced it. For every generation, just as it benefits from the scientific and exploratory heritage of past generations, so it owes it to it to preserve and add to this precious heritage so that future generations may benefit from it.
As for civilization, it is an Arabic word that is taken from Medina and civilization and is opposed to savagery in foreign languages. Its generality is human beings to material and spiritual perfections and to reach the destination and eternal perfection. This literal spirituality and true meaning has been disputed in various nations and schools, including: in the opinion of archaeologists and economists, sociologists and politicians, social thinkers and libertarians, philosophy and moral leaders, and each according to its own inference. They have made a special interpretation of it. But according to sociologists, civilization means a progressive state that is sometimes divided in terms of land and sometimes through race and sometimes from sciences, and in any case, science, industry and art are considered as the main pillars of civilization and Islamic and Arab civilization From civilization around the world in the Middle Ages and the general history of man and the world.
