 The word computer

For some time in Persian, the computer was called "electronic brain". After the arrival of this device in Iran in the early 1940s, the name computer was used. The term computer has become popular in the last two decades and is gradually replacing the computer. The word computer is Persian and from the Persian verb Rayandan means to organize. The lexical meaning of the computer becomes a tool for classification and organization.

In English, words of the same value have been used for many years, and there have been other words that are referred to as computers but have different meanings. A more poetic word is used, tölva, which is a compound word meaning "woman fortune teller!" is. In Chinese, the computer is called dian nao or "electric brain". Definitions

With the above definitions, all mechanical calculating machines, such as calculators or abacuses, can be called computers in the same way that they are used in modern machines. Of course, better terms can also be used to describe the activities of these machines, such as data processors, information processing systems, and controllers.

When we consider today's computers, most of the attentive features can mimic all the features that are being invented in other processing devices (certainly at a lower speed, of course). Occasionally, this threshold is a useful benchmark for identifying "versatile computers" of obsolete high-performance devices. This definition of "versatile" can be formally applied to the definition that a particular machine should be able to mimic the behavior of a Turing machine. Machines that meet this requirement are referred to as Turing-complete. Unless there is a physical supply of infinite storage space and the possibility of zero crashing, the word complete Turing is easily applied to a machine with high storage capacity (infinite) and with real reliability. The first series of these cars appeared in 1941: the Konrad Zuse Z3, which was program-controlled (but was given the full Turing feature in 1998). History

The German mathematician Leibniz was one of the first to attempt to build an automated computing machine. He, who helped his accountant father settle accounts, complained about the time he spent calculating.

Charles Babbage designed one of the first mechanical calculators, called an analytical machine, but it was not built as a machine due to technical problems during his lifetime (in 1993 at the London Science Museum, a model based on Babbage was designed. It was built).
