 Cameras were made in different ways according to the needs of different generations, but they all consist of a series of common components and elements.

To enter the world of photography, after identifying your interest in this field, the first tool needed to get started is a camera that fits our purpose. Nowadays, due to the high cost of cameras, it is better to do enough research and study about them before preparing them and then buy them.

Therefore, considering the importance of knowing about the camera, its components and types are briefly reviewed here.

Camera components

Camera components are the elements that make up a camera. Cameras consist of two main components and several sub-components, the most important of which are summarized below:

Body: The main body of the camera, which consists of other parts and components:

Viewfinder: The camera eye in which the photographer sees the frame.

Shutter or blocking screen: which prevents light from hitting the sensitive surface and is removed when shooting.

Film or sensor: Located behind a dark room and lens.

Dark room

Lens: The lens is placed on a dark chamber and has a convex lens inside that captures images more clearly. But it also creates problems and distortions in the image, which with the advancement of technology and the construction of new lenses, these defects are gradually being eliminated. There are different types of lenses.

Aperture: The hole is equipped with a lens inside the lens that controls the amount of light entering the chamber.

Compact Cameras: They have non-replaceable lenses with different qualities, most of which are of good quality, but these cameras are not very professional and are not recommended for professional photography.

Single Lens Reflex (SLR) Cameras: Professional cameras with an interchangeable lens.

Doual / Double Lens Cameras: They have two lenses on the body, most of which are medium-cut.
